D.C. Police Investigate Chinatown Sex Assault

News4’s Shomari Stone has the latest details on an early morning sex assault in Chinatown.

D.C. Police say a woman was sexually assaulted during the early morning hours Thursday in Chinatown.

The assault occurred at approximately 5 a.m. in the 700 block of H Street NW. A woman was walking down the street when a man forced her into an alley and sexually assaulted her.

Sources told News4 the woman was waiting for a long-distance bus that picks up passengers in the area.

The suspect is described as a black man, approximately 24 years old with a thin build. At the time, he was wearing a white T-shirt, gray pants and black shoes.
