A U.S. Postal Service truck was stolen in Northwest D.C. Friday evening, the Metropolitan Police Department confirmed.
Police received a call at 6:49 p.m. about the truck being stolen from the 700 block of Quebec Place NW.
Officers quickly found the truck and pursued it for about a half mile, police said.
They stopped it at 9th Street and Kansas Avenue NW.
A suspect is in custody, police said.
