If the lights in your home were out last night after Wednesday's snow storm, you are not alone. The mayor was in the dark too.
After attending to snow-related emergencies around the city last night, Washington's new mayor returned home to find that he had lost electricity, the Post reported.
'He said, 'It's my turn. I have to share the burden, too,'" said Gray's spokesman, Linda Wharton-Boyd.
Mayor Gray lives in the Hillcrest neighborhood, where numerous power outages were reported.
