DC Has 38 Violence Interventionists Working in 20 Neighborhoods

Almost 100 members of the public testified before D.C. Council members Monday, most of them urging the District to shift money away from the Metropolitan Police Department. Many want the city to instead use those funds for community initiatives, including DC’s Violence Interrupter program. Jodie Fleischer and the News4 I-Team spoke with one violence interrupter about what he does.
