Celebrating Black History: Behind the Curtain at the Lincoln Theatre

Actress/singer Pearl Bailey called U Street “Washington‘s Black Broadway” because of the restaurants, clubs and theaters that were around then. The Lincoln Theatre in particular was a major player then and it is still going strong today. Barbara Harrison takes us “behind the curtain.”
