D.C. Leaders Call for Unity in Fight Against Crime

Amid a battle between Metropolitan Police Department brass and the D.C. Police Union, some D.C. Council members and community leaders are calling for a unified response to a spike in crime. “If they’re at war with each other, than all of us out here are going to suffer,” said Robert Pittman, chairman of the First District Citizens Advisory Council.
