D.C. Fire Chief Kenneth Ellerbe to Announce Retirement Thursday

Washington, D.C. Fire Chief Kenneth Ellerbe will announce his retirement Thursday morning, effective July 2, the News4 I-Team has learned. Ellerbe, agency chief since 2011, said he was not pushed aside and is retiring voluntarily. News4’s Scott MacFarlane has the story.
