Cost to Park in D.C. Increasing

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s budget proposal includes an increase in taxes on parking lots and garages, but Council Chairman Phil Mendelson wants to raise the price of parking tickets and change the hours on parking meters so in some neighborhoods you’d be feeding the meter until midnight. The council will pick one of those options in a budget vote Wednesday. Shomari Stone reports.
