Consumer Reports: Best and Worst Airlines

Over the next few weeks, many of you will fly for the holidays. The airline you choose could mean the difference between a happy trip or an aggravating one. Consumer Reports surveyed 20,000 of its subscribers and came up with the best and worst airlines. Erika Gonzalez broke it all down. (American Airlines replied, saying, “More customers are choosing to fly than ever before. We’re investing more than $2 billion in improvements to the product and customer experience. These capital investments include fully lie-flat seats; international Wi-Fi; more in-flight entertainment options and power outlets; a new, modern design for Admirals Club lounges worldwide; and an upgraded assortment of complimentary healthy food, cocktails and more. All of this is in addition to our historic fleet renewal, which will give American the youngest fleet of its network competitors. On average, we’re taking delivery of one new plane every four days.”)
