Common Gardening Materials Can Easily Catch Fire From Cigarettes, Campaign Warns

Potting soil, mulch and hay can be found in countless gardens and green spaces — but the materials are very flammable. That’s why Fairfax County fire officials have launched a campaign encouraging proper cigarette disposal after three huge fires started by cigarettes put homes up in smoke. News4’s Julie Carey reports.
