Celebrating Juneteenth: ‘Lift Every Voice and Sing'

Some of the Juneteenth gatherings may begin with singing what’s now known as the Black National Anthem.  Artist, educator, and engineer Carolyn Malachi, calligrapher Felecia McFail of FOHTA Gallery, and historian Lopez Matthews Jr. all share how “Lift Every Voice And Sing” became the anthem for a people.
