Earthquake Repairs at National Cathedral May Take Another Decade

The earthquake that damaged the Washington National Cathedral hit six years ago Wednesday. Scaffolding will likely surround the central tower for “a decade or more, unless someone who won Powerball wants to drop us a check for $22 million,” a spokesman said.
