Caregiver Sentenced for Leaving Disabled Man in Car While Shopping

Brett Campbell has cerebral palsy and was locked in a hot car last summer while his caregiver strolled the mall, ate lunch and visited a hair salon, prosecutors say. His family tells News4’s Meagan Fitzgerald they want her prison sentence to send a strong message about the rights of disabled people.
