A car slammed into a 7-Eleven in Northeast Washington Tuesday morning, injuring one person.
The crash happened in the 900 block of Eastern Avenue NE, fire officials say. One person became trapped and was later taken to the hospital with serious, traumatic injuries.
That person's condition is not known at this time.
It's not clear what caused the driver to crash into the building. The structural stability of the building is being assessed.
