Capitol Officer Airlifted After Car Chase, Exchange of Gunfire

At least one person — a U.S. Capitol Police officer — has been taken to MedStar after a police chase and exchange of gunfire near the Capitol Thursday afternoon. The officer is believed to have been injured in a car crash.
