A water main break along U Street NW put a big dent in business for bars and restaurants in the area. News4’s Jackie Bensen reports.
About 100 homes and 30 businesses along D.C.'s bustling U Street were without water for a few hours Friday.
DC Water said crews were working to repair a broken 8-inch water main on U Street NW between 13th and 14th streets. The main broke about 2 p.m.
The repairs were completed by about 7:30 p.m.
