DC Officer Testifies on Fatal Shooting of Motorcyclist

Officer Brian Trainer testified on Friday about shooting and killing unarmed motorcylist Terrence Sterling. “I feared he was going to run me over or crush my leg,” he said. “I did not believe I had enough time to turn on my body-worn camera,” he said at another point. When a fellow officer apologized to Trainer for not being more supportive in the days after the shooting, Trainer wiped a tear from his eye. News4’s Mark Segraves reports.
