Author Eric Broyles Addresses Police About Encounters with Civilians

“Comply now and contest later.” That’s one of the common-sense pieces of advice from Eric Broyles, an African-American lawyer and author who has written a book about encounters between black men and police. Broyles wrote the book with his childhood best friend, who is now a police officer. Thursday, Broyles took his message to a new audience: Fairfax County Police. News4’s Julie Carey reports.
