A minor new chapter was added to the tragicomedy that is the Metro transit system Tuesday morning when a windshield fell out of a bus in Southeast, Get There reported.
How it happened is unknown.
"The operator called and said it fell out" but there was no other information available from Metrobus officials on why the incident occurred, said Metro spokeswoman Angela Gates.
Another bus was sent to the scene at Stanton Road and Savannah Street to pick up the passengers, as was a mechanic.
The bus was driving the W3 route. No one was injured.
