Alexandria to Become Fifth Dementia-Friendly Community in Virginia

Alexandria, Virginia, will soon become the fifth dementia-friendly community in the state. Members of the community will be trained how to interact with people with dementia in hopes of making people with the condition the feel more comfortable in their community.
