‘A Friend, a Mentor': Longtime DC Journalist Bruce Johnson Dies

Bruce Johnson, a longtime anchor at WUSA9, died Sunday, his family confirmed. He was 71. “Bruce was a friend, he was a mentor to so many… and he knew D.C. like the back of his hand,” News4’s Leon Harris said.
