9-Year-Old Girl Joins UMD Women's Soccer Team

Mikayla Hirsch knows more than most people about challenges. She suffers from Crohn’s disease. But the 9-year-old is bringing her strength and resilience to the University of Maryland Women’s Soccer Team as part of Team IMPACT, a group that connects children facing serious illnesses with college athletic teams.
