8 Out of 10 Who Ask for Higher Credit Limit Receive It: Survey

A survey by Bankrate found almost eight out of 10 people who ask for their credit limit to be raised are granted it, but only 28 percent ask. Consumer reporter Susan Hogan says a higher limit can help your credit score.
