Six people were injured in a crash in Maryland Friday evening, Montgomery County police said.
The crash took place about 7 p.m. in Rockville.
A Ford Focus traveling west on Norbeck Road collided with a Ford E-150 van making a turn from Westbury Road to westbound Norbeck, police said. The Ford Focus then hit a brick structure on the side of the road.
Five people in the Ford Focus were hospitalized with critical injuries: the juvenile female driver, a woman and three other juvenile girls.
The man driving the van was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
