3 Men Plead Guilty in D.C. Drive-By Shooting That Injured 13

Three D.C. men have pleaded guilty for their roles in a drive-by shooting last year in which 13 people were injured.

People in two cars opened fire on a crowd in the 1200 block of N. Capitol Street around 2:10 a.m. March 11, 2013.

Most of the victims -- seven men and six women -- were shot in their extremities and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, though one victim was in critical condition immediately following the shooting.

Thursday, prosecutors say 20-year-old Andrew Allen, 22-year-old Keith Bobb and 21-year-old Arnell Smith, all of D.C., pleaded guilty to 13 counts of assault with intent to kill and one count each of conspiracy to commit a crime of violence, possession of a firearm during a crime of violence and tampering with physical evidence.

According to plea agreements, Allen will be sentenced to 25 years in jail, while Bobb and Smith will spend 20 years each in prison. These sentences are pending court approval.
