26-Year-Old Man Killed in Crash Involving 3 Motorcycles in Prince George's Co.

A 26-year-old motorcyclist died when he lost control of his bike and it struck two other motorcycles Sunday in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, police say.

Two motorcycles were stopped on the right shoulder of the ramp from Central Avenue to Largo Road when another motorcycle driving on the ramp from Harry S. Truman Drive to westbound Central Avenue lost control, Maryland State Police said. That motorcycle then went across a grass median and struck the two bikes.

Jared Stewart was driving the motorcycle that lost control, state police said. He was thrown off the bike during the crash and later died at a hospital.

State police said the other two motorcyclists refused medical treatment.

The crash is under investigation.
