16-Inch Water Main Sends Water Gushing in Bethesda

Most lanes of a portion of Rockville Pike in Bethesda are closed after a water main break sent water gushing onto the busy roadway Tuesday afternoon. One lane of northbound traffic is getting by, and all southbound lanes are closed at Jones Bridge Road. Cedar Lane is open, but it’s making for a slow and frustrating rush hour for Maryland drivers.
