Car Hits Trash Truck Head-On; 2 Dead, 2 Injured

Two 19-year-old men are dead after a car crashed head-on into a recycling truck in Beltsville, Maryland. At least three other people are hurt. Prince George’s County Bureau Chief Tracee Wilkins talked to one woman who ran to help those hurt in the wreck.

Two 19-year-old men were killed and two other people were injured in a head-on crash in Beltsville early Monday.

Shortly before 5 a.m. a garbage truck was heading south in the 11300 block of Edmonston Road near Baltimore Pike when the driver of a Chevrolet Impala left its lane and struck the truck head-on, police said.

The driver of the Impala was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified later Monday as Marvin Jean Vain Queur of Oregold Court in Laurel.

A passenger in the car, Stephen Dominique Nestor of Morton Place in Temple Hills, was rushed to the hospital, but he died of his injuries.

A third passenger suffered critical injuries, police said. The fourth and fifth passengers in the car refused medical treatment.

The driver of the trash truck also suffered non-life threatening injuries.
