Scientists Identify New Breast Cancer Gene

A newly identified gene known as PALB-2 could increase your risk of breast cancer. Women who carry the gene were found to have a one in three chance of developing the cancer by age 70. Doctors say PALB-2 mutations could be more common than we think because patients weren’t tested for it.
