Out of the Darkness Walks Raise Money, Awareness for Mental Health Care, Suicide Prevention

The second annual “Out of Darkness” Walk in Manassas raised more than $40,000 while the fifth annual walk in Rockville raised almost $100,000. The walks are for raising awareness about the need for mental health care and suicide prevention. They are sponsored by the American Foundation for the Prevention of Suicide.
