Moderna Plans Vaccine Trial Expansion to Include Children 5 to 11

Moderna said Monday that it is “actively discussing a proposal with the FDA” to expand its coronavirus vaccine trial to include children ages 5 to 11. The company hopes to expand its trial to include children in this age group by the end of the year.
