Tuskegee Airman Honored at National Aviation Hall of Fame

This weekend a retired air force colonel from our area will be honored at the National Aviation Hall of Fame in Dayton, Ohio. Col. Charles McGee, a Tuskegee Airman, who lives in Bethesda, flew 409 combat missions from WWII to the Vietnam War, but despite a career that soared, his efforts these days are aimed at keeping young people grounded.
