Family pleads for safe homecoming

Two sisters from Capitol Heights, Md., who were missing since December 29th, have been found.

Family members were searching for Roxann Owen, 14, and her sister De'ja Owen, 11, canvassing neighborhoods and passing out flyers to try and find them.

Police didn't suspect foul play, but were worried for their safe return.

"We're very concerned about the cold and we're asking the public's assistance if they are located to contact the police deparment," said Corporal Larry Johnson, Jr. of the Prince George's County Police.

The girls live with their aunt, Richardine Lee, in Capitol Heights, Md.  Roxann and De'ja Owen were last seen walking along near a shopping center near Marlboro Pike.

When the girls were missing, Lee sent out this plea for their safe homecoming: "Roxanne, I want you to know we love you, De'ja we love you , and we miss you.  Call home.  This is where you need to be...not out here in this crazy world."
