NTSB Faults Washington Gas Equipment in Deadly 2016 Apartment Explosion in Silver Spring

A gas company’s faulty equipment is the most likely cause of an explosion at a Silver Spring apartment complex that killed seven people in 2016, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said Tuesday. NTSB also said the explosion may have been preventable. News4’s Darcy Spencer reports.
