“Jon & Kate” Mom Fired 40 Staffers in 3 Months: Nurse

Good help is very hard to find -- especially if you have a short fuse.

Reality TV mom Kate Gosselin has such a short temper that she fired 40 nurses and nurses aides charged with watching her brood in a span of three months, a nurse who was hired by the mom of eight told Usmagazine.com

Nurse Angela Krall told the magazine that the "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star is a perfectionist that left "demeaning" signs in each room detailing house rules and even fired one of the nurses for washing her hands in the kitchen and not the bathroom.

"Kate flipped," Krall told the magazine. "She thought it was cross-contamination."

Gosselin petitioned the state in 2005 to pay for Krall, who was first paid by Medicaid, the AP reported. At the time, hubby Jon was unemployed.

"Kate Gosselin said she feels society has a responsibility to help with the children, since modern medicine promotes the use of fertility drugs, which can lead to multiple births," the AP reported.

The perfectionist behavior drove a wedge between Kate and her father, a pastor, who gave her cribs that were donated by his parishioners, the magazine reported.

"They didn't match and Kate rejected them," a family friend told the magazine. "Things like that caused a rift."

Krall said all six babies got matching cribs because Kate "thought they were owed stuff," Krall said.

"The money factor was huge," she said.

Both Kate and hubby Jon have made headlines recently for Jon's alleged infidelity. He has vehemently denied rumors that he was stepping out on his wife with a younger woman.

One of the couple's neighbors claimed the two are only staying together for the paychecks.  Their reality show pays a reported $25,000 an episode and the new season is slated to begin on May 25, MSNBC reported.
