Ikea is taking advantage of the historic inauguration as a great opportunity to promote its furniture.
The Swedish retailer is planning to create its own version of the Oval Office in the Main Hall of Union Station. The replica, complete with the Secret Service, will be constructed of Ikea furniture.
Visitors will also be able to sign a guestbook welcoming President-elect Obama and his family – eventually to be delivered to the White House.
The display will be up through Jan. 14.
