The Latest Exhibit: Your DNA

If you're looking for interesting (or should we say really interesting) art work, we have the perfect solution for you.

My Gene Image, a company based out of California, promises to turn your DNA into a work of art you can display in your home or at the office.

Katherine Sutton, a freelance writer for JustLuxe.com explains:

The process was simple, to my delight. A few clicks on the website to select color and dimensions, a swab of my cheek on a little gray stick returned by mail, and I was soon presented with my one-of-kind, sophisticated piece, a canvas of the letters A, G, C, and T on a Matrix-like design. (For those of you who need a brief refresher-My Gene Image explains: "DNA can be thought of as the building blocks of life. It is made of sugars and phosphate. On each sugar, there is one of four bases attached: A, G, C, or T.")

So now I have a little piece of me, literally, hanging in my living room. It's a superb conversation starter.

Our guess was the art would be pretty expensive, but it's actually not to bad. Prices range from $120 to $499 depending on size.
