Who would have thought that on the National Mall there would be a living conservatory for escape? Located right next to the capital, the U.S. Botanic Gardens offer you a chance to enjoy beautiful and unique plants in the heart of D.C. Through the Conservatory, the National Garden, and Bartholdi Park, the U.S. Botanic Gardens offer you three unique ways to experience a little nature.

The Conservatory is newly renovated and constantly growing with more interesting and exotic plants for your viewing, so even if you’ve visited before you want to check it out once again.

Just outside of the Conservatory is the National Garden, which boasts of beautiful and unique exhibits. Enjoy the Butterfly Garden, Rose Garden, First Ladies Water Garden, and Regional Garden.

Bartholdi Park offers a different look at the Botanic garden with beautiful architecture and the famous Bartholdi fountain. Escape from your day as you enjoy the park right across the street from the Conservatory.

Located at 100 Maryland Avenue, SW, the Conservatory is open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily including weekends and holidays. Continue your stroll through the National Garden from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily. The best part is that the whole experience is free! So whether you want to enjoy a stroll outside or through the Conservatory, it is time to take a look at the Botanic Gardens.
