It's been less than a month since the Washington Wizards canned head coach Eddie Jordan.
But Jordan may not be out of work long. His name has already come up in rumors in Philadelphia, where the 76ers just fired their coach, Maurice Cheeks.
ESPN.com reported that while assistant GM Tony DiLeo will replace Cheeks on an interim basis, the team may look to Jordan for a long-term solution. Jordan worked with Sixers GM Ed Stefanski in New Jersey.
The move could come sooner than people think. There are more rumors that Jordan could be in the running for a potential job opening in Sacramento, where Reggie Theus is on the hot seat.
Oh, and by the way, the Wizards were 1-10 with Jordan at the helm this year. Since then, the team hasn't fared much better, going 3-7.
