WASHINGTON — He is best known as the “Dog Whisperer,” and Friday night on Cesar Millan’s “Dog Nation” on Nat Geo Wild, Millan is showcasing the power of guide dogs for wounded veterans.
The episode was shot in the nation’s capital and focuses on a blind gulf war veteran who, now instead of a cane, has a dog to guide him along busy sidewalks and keep him out of danger.
Millan spoke to WTOP’s Mike Murillo about this special episode which air Friday night at 9 p.m. and also shared some behavior changing tips dog owners can use with their four legged family members.
