Dave Chappelle Receives Lifetime Achievement Award for Comedy

Boundary-pushing comedian Dave Chappelle was the latest recipient of the Mark Twain prize for lifetime achievement in comedy on October 27, 2019. The event was a homecoming for Chappelle who was raised in suburban Silver Spring, Maryland and attended Washington’s prestigious Duke Ellington School of the Arts.
