Create a Routine to Help You Remember Your Child in the Back Seat

Last year, 52 children died in the U.S. after being left in hot cars — a tragedy that can be prevented. A bill introduced in Congress called the Hot Cars Act would require cars to come equipped with technology alerting drivers if a child is left in the backseat after the ignition is turned off. But there are steps you can take now to make sure it doesn’t happen to you. Consumer Reporter Susan Hogan explains.
