  • Most states don't recognize gay marrage -- but now a number of dictionaries do. New editions of The American Heritage Dictionary, Black's Law Dictionary and Websters have expanded their definition to include same-sex unions.
     
  • The absurdity surrounding Michelle-mania has reached new heights: the first lady's eyelashes are making headlines. Michelle was sporting  fake "all-out diva lashes" during her trip to Europe -- a clear departure from her typically understated make-up and dress, according to reports.
     
  • The Italian prime minister told earthquake survivors who were made homeless by the quake that rocked the country and left at least 260 dead to consider their new tent accommodations like being on a "camping weekend." Silvio Berlusconi said the estimated 17,000 homeless have "everything they need" like medical care and hot food.
     
  • Chimps have sex for gifts. A new study found that wild chimps that gave away food were twice as successful at having sex with females than their less generous counterparts. Chimpanzees are among the closest living relatives to humans.
