"A happy hunting ground for mates, food and drinks," is the motto for the DC bar The Big Hunt.
Located South of DuPont Circle, this bar appears to be nothing special from the outside but don’t let that deter you.
The bar is unique with decorations you will either love or find slightly creepy. One wall is decorated to look like hunting tents, and another room is ornamented with animal heads to give the bar an outdoorsy, hunting lodge feel.
If you’re feeling crowded, there are many spacious rooms to explore. You can enjoy the outdoor rooftop deck, or there is always the option of the fully stocked basement bar. You will find a pool table and two of the best jukeboxes in D.C. You can download songs onto the jukebox. With 27 beer varieties, The Big Hunt draws a crowd in their young 20s.
Monday through Friday from 4p.m. to 7 p.m. you can expect $1 off all drinks, $3 rail drinks and $2.50 Bud Light.
