Better Days: Sweeping DC's Underground Scene

Enough already, the cookie-cutter club-clusters are starting to play themselves out. Same people ... same music ... same streets. Leave it to D.C. to standardize everything. If you're looking to break out of the mold, head to Metropolitan Champagne Bar at Napoleon Lounge tonight.

Better Days is a new series of events launching over the next few months. All the events will be at different venues and will feature a variety of DJ’s. Their mission is to keep things fresh and let the music drive the direction of the event. Better Days is the team behind The Coolout and Aperture.

The name Better Days alludes to underground parties in Manhattan in the early 1970s that help lay the groundwork for the creation of disco, electro and house music.

The first installment is located downstairs at Napoleon Lounge and will feature Harry Dixon, the resident DJ at the Coolout, and DJ Dave Nada

Partygoers have called Better Days a raw, underground and sexy series that hosts some of DC’s most beautiful and diverse crowds.
