5/16: It's AbFab Night, Sweetie Darling

Plus, Buzz Bakery's Summer Happy Hour and Paella Sundays at Jaleo

MWAH: Great things used to happen on TV on Sunday nights. The Simpsons. The Sopranos. OK, so it's not the 1990s right now, but don't let that stop you from enjoying the BBC comedy classic "Absolutely Fabulous" at ACKC (1529 14th St. N.W.). The quirky chocolatier has recently added a wine bar. Grab yourself a big ol' glass, just like the lovely ladies on the show -- or, as Patsy famously said, "The last mosquito that bit me had to check into the Betty Ford clinic." 8-9 p.m.; no cover.

BUZZ AND BEAGLES: The indoor/outdoor happy hour at Buzz Bakery (901 Slaters Lane, Alexandria) calls to mind a fresh summer night even when the weather's in the 60s. Get a a dollar off all cocktails and beer, including mojitos and a vodka lemonade made with Firefly vodka. And doggeh pals are welcome to hang with you on the patio. 4-9 p.m.; no cover.

RICE IS NICE: The Crystal City location of Jaleo (2250 A Crystal Drive, Arlington) serves a traditional Spanish Sunday supper each week, with gazpacho, salad, paella and flan. Nosh on unlimited servings of two daily paellas: a traditional paella of chicken and wild mushrooms, and a vegetarian paella featuring seasonal produce. 4 p.m. to closing; $18 per person (not including tax and tip).
