Long Dispute in Congress About Which Amtrak Lines Should Get the Most Money

Some members of Congress say they’ve botched how they’ve overseen and funded Amtrak. There’s a raging and ugly dispute over which tracks and which lines should get the most taxpayer money, and for at least seven years gridlock has left Amtrak without a long-term plan from Congress.
