Local Music Legend Tex Rubinowitz Returns Decades After Last Show

In the 1980s, Tex Rubinowitz was a mainstay on the local music scene, but then he put down his guitar and walked away. On Sunday, he will be among the dozens of musicians from across the country who will pay tribute to rocker Billy Hancock, who died earlier this year. News4’s Mark Segraves spoke with Rubinowitz in a local recording studio to talk about why he stopped playing and why he’s releasing his first album in decades.
