News 4 Your Sunday: Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebrations

Martin Luther King Jr. Day will be celebrated Monday, with events across the city commemorating the great civil rights leader. Denise Rolark Barnes, publisher of the Washington Informer and Stuart Anderson, a coordinator for the MLK Peace Walk and Parade, talk about how you can participate in the annual parade down Martin Luther King avenue. Lawson Muse is also joined by Lillie Jessie, a Delta Sigma Theta member and originator of the MLK Oratorical Contest, Paulette Jones, a retired educator, Seth Opoku-Yeboah, a former MLK Oratorical Contest winner and Chelsea Campbell, a student and 2017 MLK Contest orator.
