NBC Recognizes Nonprofits That Help Kids

The NBC Universal Foundation honored five outstanding Washington-area nonprofits for improving educational opportunities for local children. The Florence Crittenton Services of Greater Washington, the Latin American Youth Center, Mary’s Center for Maternal & Child Care, Mentoring to Manhood, and Strive DC, each received grants for a combined total of $100,000.
